The Great Experiment

May I present the D.E.V. ( Deep Exploration Vessel) Star Lab, Which has been constructed in low orbit of the Moon.

Its primary mission is to traveling to MARS, Establishing and Maintaining a colony for approximately 10yrs. During which time colonist will be able to travel to MARS for permanent residence. After the 10 yr mark, complete colonization can commence.

The Four Large extending Cyinlnders are the Work Module's...which contains varies labs, work stations, Hydroponics, etc...

The Fore section has the Main Command Craft, that is able to detach from the Star Lab for a surface landing. if required, it has VTOL landing thrusters and Landing Grabbling Cables that is able to latch deep to any planet surface... Alongside are two Cargo Shuttle Craft's, to transport any supplies to the colony.
