Project: Colonize
I decided to build a mini-scale moon-base, launch pad, and rocket. This is the rocket that is going to Mars for Project: Colonize. It will launch and, after it clears the atmosphere and gravity field, will jettison its four boosters and fire up its main engine. The engine will then give it a burst, sending it hurling in the direction of mars. Since there is no drag in space, it will fly at the speed of the propulsion that the engine has given. Once it reaches Mars, the rocket body will enter the atmosphere and gravity field and, with precise co-ordination, shall land on the planet Mars. And thus the colonization has begun.
