Kepler V
The Kepler V spacecraft named for Johannes Kepler who discovered the duration of Mars' orbit while solving the martian problem. The Kepler V consists of two Mars lander crafts that detach with the habitation and gear stowage units, Kepler station that will stay in orbit, rocket boosters to assist in takeoff and entry. Kepler station has folding solar panels that are controlled and monitored by the panels on the interior. Additionally, Kepler station is equipped with an arsenal of tools for continued maintenance. The habitation unit consists of beds and food storage for the crew while the gear stowage unit contains the spacesuit stowage rack with air tank charging station. Finally the identical lander units provide for means to transport the crew, habitation and and gear stowage units to Mars while providing a redundancy in mission capability.
