The Mars Star

The Mars Star is a ship designed in the shape of a star. In the center is a circular control room for the ship. The five pods on the sides contain different rooms, including a green room, a supply room, a kitchen, a dorm room (where the crew would sleep), and a restroom. When flying to mars these ships would have to fly in fleets, in order to care as much supplies as needed on mars and on the way. Once landing on the martian surface the ships have alternate rocket engines pointing the other direction to slow the fall so everything makes it okay. Then they can take the parts stored in the supply pod to build carbon generators to start an atmosphere that the plants in the green room can turn into oxygen. If enough fleets of these Mars Stars make it to mars they could colonels that could later populate the whole planet.
