VOLVO PRINTER 1100
In the future, houses will be built with additive manufacturing techniques mainly because of cost reduction. The Volvo Printer 1100 is a remotely-controlled construction machine based on this principle. The vehicle can be driven remotely to reach the building site. Then, it can be separated in two parts and up to four printing arms can be deployed to start the construction work. Three tanks, one on the main and two on the secondary vehicle, allow to build three-level buildings. The work can be supervised remotely with a flying drone. When the job is finished, the drone land on the top of the cab to drive the vehicle back to the depot.
