50 Years of D&D: The Original Box Set
Fifty years ago, it all started when I bought a small, white, 3-volume box set of a new role-playing game called Dungeons & Dragons and a pad of graph paper. This recreation of that box uses stickers made from my photos of the box cover and 3 tiles representing the 3 original volumes. The box I used is the IKEA BYGGLEK 5x7 LEGO storage box, but it can easily be created using white bricks.
The box cover illustration features a wizard who's guarding the treasure while casting blue flame at an evil green banshee. The skeleton of a failed treasure seeker lies on the ground.
Inside the box is space to both roll and store your dice.
