Dungeons and Dragons: The Party Enters a Tavern

A Tavern is one of the most iconic locations in Dungeons and Dragons as a place for a new party to start and meet each other as well as a more established party to stay and refresh.This design for a tavern mixes both those uses by having a large dining/drinking area complete with stage for the bard to perform but also has a sleeping area for a tired group. Finally the roof functions as an almost battlement to help defend it from attacks (perhaps by a hungry owlbear!) Each floor is detailed and simple to build and are simply attached with a few studs so can be easily removed for both build and play.

 

One of my favourite things about Dungeons and Dragons is the feeling that anyone is welcome and so in the figures I wanted to both incorporate as many classes and races as possible. This means any fan can pick up this set and see something that represents how they play the game. Both DnD and Lego are incredibly inclusive so it was a must for me to represent that in this build.
