Life on Mars

This model of mars shows, what life on mars would be like, featuring 2 astronauts maintaining the rover. Outside of the 3d printed homes. It features a cell tower so the astronauts can use there laptops to do research and keep the location of the rover, as it explores Mars. Featuring rockets taking off in the background, also in the sky I put earth and the sun. As the sun sets behind the dunes in the back of the build.

I wanted to make this build as realistic as possible to what life of mars could be like so I added details like smoke and fire on the rocket that is just landing. With a blue sky for the sunset, since when you look at images of a sunset on Mars, the sunset is a bluish grey, Not orangish yellow with some red like on earth.

I even made sure to include uneven surfaces and big rocks scattered through the planet. It was interesting to build something micro scale so, I used forced perspective to make it look like the homes in the background are further away.
