1950s Convertible
Ahh, the good ol' 1950s! Clearly, the space race has just started, and everybody was dreaming about rockets and space shuttles! So, to capture the imagination of the people, the American car manufacturers added bits of space age to their car designs. Large tailfins with thruster-shaped taillights, rocket-shaped hood ornaments, and more importantly, lots of chrome! But well, everything that i just said didn't help a thing on the car's performance, aerodynamics, and visibility. And the pointy bumpers are no good at all when it comes to pedestrian safety (yikes!) Nevertheless, these type of cars are still an American icon 'til today, and often be associated with the rock 'n' roll culture.
This creation is based on the American cars of the late 1950s. It features opening doors, big tailfins, quad headlights, and of course, continental spare tire cover. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like it!
