1930s Road Speedster
When we talk about vintage cars, we usually talk about beauty, style and speed. Cars we are proud to show-off to our friends and neighbours and many vintage cars become icons of their time.
Many of these cars are actually vintage Speedsters with the "grandfather" car look. And many of these do run in car races during their time. But in the 1930s Ford came up with a pared down, streamline model.. built for speed.. "Modern-looking", it looks like it could beat the competition anytime. A stylish icon of its time.
My build is inspired by this model but with a more robust back portion to make it a city car. One that will be equally at home speeding along the sea coast or just driving around Main Street.
