Vintage Jukebox Car

This stylish 50's convertible car is not just a car - it is also a Jukebox! Now your minifigures can drive with style and listen to their favourite vinyl albums at the same time; much better than newfandangled radios! What more could you ask for in a vintage-style car?

This model is mostly built on its side. The entire frame of the car, as well as the front half, are built entirely sideways, with studs facing forwards. The only part built upwards is the open-roofed cabin, but even that still employs angles parts to create a slicked-back windscreen and reverse arch shape around the seat. However, the most interesting part of this build is the hood - the domed part of the Jukebox. It is formed by threading 2x2 circle plates onto sausage pieces and then filling the gaps with 1x1 round plates. This makes the circular plates curve around the front of the car to form an additional curve, which gives the Jukebox it's distinctive shape.
