1957 Thirteen Autosport Noir Roadster
This exceptionally well-preserved Noir Roadster is an auctioneer's dream come true!
Built at a time that many now consider the heyday for sporty 2-seater automobile design, the Noir Roadster was conceived during a brain-storming session which proposed one mission: create a fast, capable and comfortable coupe for cruising through not only the mountains, but the streets of Downtown.
One of only several known Noir Roadsters, this rare hand-built American grand tourer features a low-displacement, high-output Tri-carb V12 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission atop a relatively lightweight chassis. The example featured today was ordered in beautiful cherry-apple red with light-tan leather interior and also comes equipped with tasteful chrome exterior trim (including polished factory-spec 10-spoke wheels); twin dual-exit exhaust is standard on this model and engine arrangement.
