The scandalous Speedster
Behold! The scandalous Speedster is in Town!
It´s more than a car, it´s a statement! Almost limitless power thanks to his enormous engine, the Speedster still provides everything a gentleman might require on his travels. Comfort, lockable luggage cupboard, mounts for his lordships umbrella and rapier as well as a stand for his footman.
I wanted to create some kind of diesel-punk vintage car with a special feature: a huge, working engine!
Inspired by the earliest cars, that were hardly more then retrofitted horse carriages, i added 2V of a classic Technic engine, giving the car an asymmetrical look.
This was combined with a front popular with early luxury cars, featuring 3 large headlights just as old as the engine-parts themselves, making this a fantasy vintage car mostly made of truly vintage Lego.
