Micro Version: Lion Knights’ Castle
The 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle is a great castle with lots of different functions, rooms and an incredible amount of minifigures that brings the castle to life. Although not released yet, I believe it is the best castle Lego ever produced. That’s why I wanted to challenge myself with building this castle as my first ever microscale-model.
My model is built out of 908 pieces. When open it is 28x15x13cm. I chose the scale to suit the microfigures to populate the castle and bring it to life. Every minifigure in the original set is represented by one microfigure.
Additionally, I have matched the functionality of the original set: the castle can be opened and closed and separated into two. Furthermore, the drawbridge can be raised to close the entrance of the castle and the waterwheel can be turned.
The secret hiding place of the forestmen is also included in the model. I have decorated the interior of the castle to best match the original set.
I hope that you like my micromodel.
