The Creatures of the Seabed !

Did you know that only 25% of the seabed has been explored. There are more astronauts who have visited space than explorers who have traveled into the depths of the oceans.
5 amazing species from this world are exhibited here.

Welcome to the new exhibition dedicated to creatures of the seabed.

On display:

- Lamp sponge "Chondrocladia lampadigobus", it has the particularity of being carnivorous. Depth:1000 m.

- Abyssal anglerfish "Melanocetidae", living in total darkness, it uses bioluminescence to catch its prey. Depth:3000 m.

- Giant ghost jellyfish "Stygiomedusa gigantea", has been observed only 110 times in 110 years. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in nature. Depth:4000 m.

- Colossal squid "Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni", it is the largest of all existing invertebrates.
Depth:2200 m.

- Horseshoe crab "Limulidae", this species is a living fossil, age at 485 million years. It is a witness to an era before dinosaurs. Depth:10m.
