Cosmic Love

Just what you need for a couple's romantic getaway... in space!

Some of my favorite things to build with LEGO are robots and spaceships, so I made a Valentine's Day-themed spaceship for the contest.

The hull is heart-shaped, with foldable Cupid-like wings and engines that look like flowers.

There's also a bit of classic space LEGO theme vibe in there.

Features:

 - Cockpit for 2 minifigures.

 - Wings fold over the hull, converting into a perfectly heart-shaped storage mode. The cockpit can be flipped upside down or lowered to get out of the wings' way.

 - When the ship lands, the cockpit lowers and forms the third support (in addition to the 2 engines) for the ship to rest on.

 - Also included is an alien crystal column with heart gems. The column can be used either for scenery or to prop up the ship if you'd like to display it with the cockpit in the flight position.
