NATURE: Cranes' Paradise

When I was little, my father showed me a couple of tiny wooden oriental sculptures inside a glass case. It was simple, but really cool. One of the elements that stood out were the cranes, elegant and majestic. Those tiny sculptures made me appreciate architecture (particularly oriental) and crafting since young age. So, playing with Lego was a natural course and increasingly passionate hobby.

The red-crowned cranes, the focus of this build, like marsh-like environments near somewhat deep water to build their nests on its ground. They are a symbol of good luck and fortune on some Asian cultures.

The habitat features:
-a waterfall, providing fresh water to the cranes and feeding the marsh waters;
-small vegetation (their favourite!) like vines, stems, lilypads, small trees. Also some drier plants that are further from water;
-a small rodent, peeking out his shelter to try risking stealing the eggs (or get eaten by the parents);
-a very hidden frog avoiding being crane food.
