Live at Pompeii

Pink Floyd has been called one of the most influential band of 1970s. Pioneers of phychedelic and progressive rock, the band has achieved everlastic global success.

Live at Pompeii is a concert documentary filmed over several days in October of 1971 and released is 1972. The setting is Amphitheatre of Pompeii, which was destroys in the famous eruption of Mount Vesuvius, together with the rest of the city.

David Gilmour showcases his iconic "Black Strat" - a guitar that he continuously modified to fit his own style throughout the years. Eventually the "Black Strat" was auctioned for charity, and became one of the most expensive guitars ever sold.
