The Journey

We all have hopes and dreams, but they have to start somewhere. This model follows the story of one young woman's dream becoming reality - from music-obsessed teen to rock legend!

The outer frame of this build is designed to look like a music box and holds a rotating piece with four different scenes. The middle piece can be rotated using the winding key at the top, to show each of the four scenes in turn.

The first scene shows the girl receiving her new Fender Stratocaster at Christmas. On the walls are photos showing that her passion for music has been with her from a young age. The second scene shows her in her room (covered in posters of her music heroes and trophies from music competitions), practicing hard. The third scene takes her to a youth music festival, where she gets the chance to share her music with the public. In the fourth scene, we see her achieving her dream - performing on stage in front of an adoring crowd.
