Rock Will Never Die
What music would be without guitars? And what rock music would be without the thin, bright and expressive sound of Fender Stratocasters?
This entry is a tribute to some of the most celebrated rock artists of all time and their iconic instruments. It's a 48x48 studs mosaic resembling a 3-color sunburst Stratocaster in the center, accompanied by a list of guitarists who have written the history of music with their own Strats. Among the others, Yngwee Malmsteen, George Harrison, Eric Clapton...
But this is just a small part and the list could go on forever. Because, you know, rock will never die.
The project also includes as a cameo a minifig inspired by Jimi Hendrix, my all-time favorite Strat player, and his legendary performance at Monterey Pop Festival on 31 March 1967, when he set fire to his guitar live on stage for the first time.
Total parts: 2858
