Antique Chandelier

This set represents an antique chandelier, an iconic piece of furniture, which remains gorgeous even today.

The two dominant colors of the construction are chrome gold and pearl gold.

The set holds because its body inside is entirely connected by a rigid hose, piece 75c47, as long as the height of the chandelier. The hose piece acts as a connector, and causes friction between the pieces with the cross hole much more than an axle, even a very long one.

This friction makes it impossible for the chandelier to collapse.

I chose a rigid hose not only for the friction, but also because I sometimes had to rotate the plate round 4x4, piece 6222, thus rotating the arms of the chandelier by 45°.

I decided to use unusual pieces for the function of parts of the chandelier to make the set more aesthetically gorgeous and more articulated, like crabs as decoration, blades as crystals, eggs as flames, flowers/leaves for decoration, and Lego cake icing as wax.
