Morse Telegraph Machine (Transmitter)
One of many pieces of very important history includes the morse telegraph machine. This machine saw extensive use and has served in the world of communication for over 100+ years. While it infamously was used during times of war. It also served as civilian communication prior to the invention of the telephone in 1876.
This build is able to be split in half. Revealing the two main credited for inventing morse code and the receiver Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail. Along with these two minifigures are basic information about them both and the creation/indoctrination of this machine.
One of the main reasons I chose to build this machine was due to my grandfather who operated them. However their significant role in modern communication was also part of my consideration.
My refences were a Japanese made morse code machine that my grandfather got during WW2 as well as 1800s style machines with wooden bases I found online.
