Academy Award (Oscar)

The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, are regarded as the most important film awards. The golden knight is instantly recognizable to almost anyone, even if they are not into movies.

However, I and many others adore cinema and I think every film fan has at some point in their life imagined themselves holding or even winning a real Academy Award. Unfortunately, this is for many of us only a dream, so that's why I made the next best thing: an Oscar made with LEGO bricks.

This build is made in a 1:1 scale to the real thing according to dimensions stated on the official website of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and I hope I did a good job recreating the award.

This would be a great LEGO set for any film fan to proudly put on display in their home. Even if you are not into films, it could be a great source to get many bricks in pearl gold ;).
