Happy Surprise

Christmas is just around the corner, and like every Christmas, there are gifts to open, but... not all surprises are as we expected. 🫣

For this idea, I was inspired by the gift boxes from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas and by dungeon chests, mainly seen in role-playing games, specifically the "mimics" (conscious and monstrous creatures that devour unsuspecting adventurers who wander through caves and caverns in search of chests and treasures).

Combining these two concepts, I created this monstrous gift box that, on Christmas night, while the child is distracted, gets ready to capture and eat them, only to then return to its original form and wait for other children.🤤
