Nutcrack-O'-Lantern

The Christmas element I have chosen to transform into a Halloween version is the nutcracker, by replacing its entire head and body with a Jack-o'-Lantern, but still keeping the moving mouth function.

I began by making an easily recognizable Jack-o'-Lantern face, and then hinging the lower jaw. A pumpkin body was then built around this, with the arms and legs added afterwards. Finally, I topped the build off with a nutcracker's iconic hat.

The most difficult part was creating sturdy legs, with how big I made the moving mouth, as usually it's just a small mouth and beard that move.

Lastly, my favourite detail I included is turning the nutcracker handle into a pumpkin stem.
