Vintage Transportation: First Engines
I have always been fascinated by beginnings. Seeing one of this challenge's theme, vintage transportation, it was clear in my mind what I had to build: the first engine powered car, boat and plane.
Thus, my model consists of the first motor fuelded:
- Car, invented in 1886 by Carl Benz;
- Plane, first flown in 1903 by the Wright brothers;
- Boat, tested in 1886 by Gottlieb Daimler.
The baseplate I built on is 24x24 studs and the three models fit perfectly on it.
