Celebrating Classics: High Speed Getaway Bus

Space Police has been my favourite original theme since my earliest days as a LEGO fan. The uniqueness of all the spaceships and vehicles never fails to pull me in. A true classic from it's inception in 1989, all the way to its third itteration in 2009.

Coming in at 661 peices, my model aims to capture that same creative ship design. This model features two police vehicles, with enough room to seat all three versions of space police minifigure. And the star of the show, the High Speed Getaway Bus. It has enough space in the back to carry all the loot from your latest heist. But beware to any accomplices that find themselves back there. In case of imminent capture, the driver cabin can break free, gaining extra speed, and leaving an obstacle for the pursuing officers.

This was a lot of fun to build. Revisiting one of my favourite themes is always a treat. And I am grateful that I get to share my design with all of you.
