Japanese Water Garden
For this competition I wanted to build something both iconic to Japanese culture and something people can visit today. The water garden is basically a small pool surrounded by walls. The inside is filled with water and lilies. I used 1x2 translucent blue tiles for the water and for the likes I used a combination found in some sets. I used a couple of SNOT sideways building techniques as well as tiling all the rest of the ground off. I have always loved the Cherry Blossom trees and decided to build one for this display. I used the basic sideways build to create the tree and secured it using a 1x1 brick with a technic slot. There is enough room for about 6-7 Minifigures as well as some extra pieces such as broken boards. In one corner I set up a black belt martial artist and an assistant. I used other Minifigure combinations for other characters. This set would be a great addition for all lego builders everywhere. Please consider this idea. Thank you.
