Festivities in the Great Hall

Christmas in the magical world is always special, but when does it ever feel more Christmassy than in the great hall! Eat into a festive feast as a towering tree decorated in gold and silver looms over you. Whilst holly and wreaths hang on the walls , Christmas carols are sung. Enjoy looking through the behemoth windows, Safely tucked away from all the unpleasant chills of winter. Even the teachers enjoy Christmas here in Hogwarts!

this Moc is to minifigure scale to the actual hall! This prove challenging with limited bricks but I used interesting techniques to overcome this. the pillar detailing is actually made from ice-cream cones and windows themselves are created using levers, helicopter blades and cheese slopes. The pupil tables are actually made from gate pieces, which I had to borrow from the actual great hall lego set. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the outcome to the project with the limited time and pieces I had.
