Classic Winners Trophy

Hello everyone, for my second entry I have created a trophy anybody would automatically think of if someone said, "Trophy."  So I built a trophy designed after the classic goblet style trophy with a large cup, tiny handles, and a wide-narrow-wide handle/base. I also tied in the FIRST LEGO League logo on the top in the rim of the cup. The trophy is attached securly to a wide 12x18 stud black base. On that base is a 6x6 gray tile plate for a metal plaquer. The trophy also can be easily detached from it's base by lifting up. Another cool feature of the build is that the trophy is actually like a cup, meaning it has an open top and hollow center that is even sloped inside! Pretty cool right? The trophy is comprised of 190 parts and measures 23 studs high. Although this may seem like a last minute post, while in one sence it is, I began planning a few days prior to the contest opening. It took sometime to get all the bricks necessary to build the trophy. Thanks for viewing, hope you enjoy!
