Terror Rose

The moment I saw this challenge and saw that we aren't allowed to use bendy pieces I knew I wanted to make some sort of plant monster because I wanted to challenge myself with this build (making a vine like plant is hard without bendy pieces) This build is easily my most time consuming build yet. This build was a great way for me to get experience with SNOT techniques. This model contains 743 pieces. When I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to make a scary plant so for the design I really started to think about what humans find unsettling. The thing I came up with is strange body anatomy. That is why I made it a pit with teeth, that also has a mound of dirt in it's mouth, which has tentacles and a second mouth growing out of it. I gave this creature a strange anatomy with it's two mouth placements and tentacles to really make it feel more unsettling. I also wanted a balance between natural and unnatural. I also gave it a dark, contrasting color scheme to make it feel more sinister.
