‘My Mythical Menacing Mysterious Monstrous Mill’ (Mmmmmm)

When this competition was published the brief required the model to be a structure, so Trains were unfortunately out . . .BUT, inspired by a visit to a Windmill, this was the perfect opportunity to showcase my static MMMMMM.

The Windmill Veins lent themselves to being swapped for Creepy Tentacles, oddly the central spine is akin to a beady eye. Further tentacles burst out of the windows, chimney & even the doorknob! I have deliberately missed some bricks from the build to create the impression of a dilapidated and ramshackle style.

All the windows are boarded up & the upstairs windows are rendered with self-illuminating bricks to create a spooky feel. The wonky door, broken pilaster, oversized chimney, disproportionately large dormers & the light hanging down are all deliberate signatures that capture the spirit of this crazy build.

Size:  31 x 31 studs on plan & 24 bricks high. There are no illegal builds & the form is structurally sound to build in real bricks.
