Feeding the Marmots: A Perfect Polaroid

If there was any one thing I could go back and take a polaroid photograph of, it would be the hikes my family took a few years ago. In 2020, my family and I went on hikes nearly every day. One time, while hiking behind our house near a water tower, we discovered marmots were living in the rocky terrain, making their home in the cracked boulders. This became out favorite spot to visit. We came back every night around sunset to visit our furry friends. Each week, we would bring our leftover kale to feed the marmots- and they LOVED it!

In my model, I created a brick-built marmot and sandy scene with lots of prickly bushes to go with my 3D polaroid. For my polaroid, I included a younger version of myself feeding kale to one of the marmots and two members of my family hiking the hill by the water tower (Somebody had to take the picture!). Enjoy!
