Leaving My Room Behind

In a few months I will leave my home to attend university. One part of this move that is so difficult for me is leaving my room behind. Throughout my life I have been decorating my room from floor to ceiling in LEGO, posters, records, and any other clutter I can get my hands on. I spent my childhood on the carpet of my room, building LEGO and listening to music on my radio, and I am extremely sad to leave that part of my life behind. However, I want to preserve this memory in my mind, so that is why I chose to capture it in my LEGO polaroid. In my "photo", I included everything about my room I wanted to remember: a micro-scaled model of the LEGO Tower-Bridge which was the first Expert level set I built, the piles of clothes that are always stacked on my bed because I'm too lazy to put them away, and of course, myself sitting on the carpet, building LEGO and listening to the radio. I am sad to leave my childhood room behind, but I know that a piece of it will always be with me.
