My Missing Memory on the Isle of Aix

I reproduced 3 photos taken in the Isle of Aix ("Île-d'Aix"), a tiny island off the west coast of France with an iconic two-towers lighthouse. It's a place very dear to my heart; I played entire summers on the Anse-de-la-Croix beach you can see behind me. This isle is so important for my family that my parents even considered moving there.

- The first photo was taken in 1990 when I was 8 yrs old.

- In 2000, I was 18. We came back to the Isle of Aix and my mother was very fond of the first photo. She insisted to take another picture on the same spot, 10 years later, almost day-to-day.

- In 2020, I have three fantastic daughters. My dream was to introduce them to the Isle of Aix and take a third photo on the same spot with them. Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented this from happening.

My missed rendezvous in 2020 is now a reality. A huge thanks to Lego who made this dream possible.
