Photo Finish
Running has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Both of my parents were runners back in the day. I grew up watching my dad's cross country and track teams compete, and spending Saturday afternoons watching track meets on TV. I am now enjoying my own running career competing in high school cross country and track.
This build captures one of my favorite moments from last track season. I set a big PR (personal record), just missed the school record, and finished fourth in our state's mid-season elite meet as a sophomore.
The Design Process:
I decided on this build because it combines my two biggest passions, running and Lego. The most challenging part of this design was building the figure to look as realistic as possible while being sturdy enough to stand up without clear bricks supporting the back leg. I'm very happy with how it turned out and enjoyed every minute of working on it.
I'm hoping to change the time on the clock this spring. :)
