Polaroid on the Moon!
As a person who has been to the moon many times in my childhood, I cannot express with words the feelings I get when I revisit those moment looking at my family's old photographs. I remember quite clearly our first day out on the moon. The sun shone bright as ever in a cloudless (and atmosphereless) sky. We ate liquified sandwiches in silver plastic bags. My brother and I played tag. He cheated, opening his oxygen pump to impulse himself through the empty craters.
In all our visits to the moon, we brought with us the classic Polaroid J-63 resistant to extreme temperatures, pressure and void. We have an enormous collection of moments and good times immortalized in those photographs. Our first liftoff, the time we found Major Tom, that time our oxygen supply exploded and had make an emergency maneuver...
Building this model has brought back fond memories I hope to share with you all. Enjoy!
