Epic Fails: The Trilogy

As a photographer I am always experimenting with different looks in my photos. But sometimes things don’t turn out the way we want them. Here are my three favorites:

Expired and Heat Damaged Film – It’s not wise to consume expired food, it’s just as important not to photograph with expired film that may have been left in a warm place. I took this photograph of my spouse receiving her PhD last summer. However, the blur of colors and lack of contrast has a different look.

Too Close to a Mirror Selfie – Oh, I was so excited to be invited to the Winter Gala at the Met. I looked so dapper in my Tux and I wanted to take a quick self-portrait. Don’t stand too close to a mirror with the flash on.

Lens Cap Forgotten – The photograph that could have been! Oops, forgot to take off the lens cap. This photo is of myself in front of the Taj Mahal in a tuk-tuk.
