Cycle of Life

Forgive me if this entry seems odd. Unusual is kind of my thing. "Cycle of Life" was sparked by my experience as a father. Kids made me see parallels between my own childhood and theirs. Year by year, I appreciate how some things in life come in cycles because I'm seeing it now as a dad. Of course I'm also a tinkerer who loves all things mechanical. Using the Bugatti Chiron set as my inspiration, I've developed a stepper that can move 60° at a time.

Just consider this entry one continuous memory. On its most basic level, it's about my relationship with my daughter and how I hope it will look in the future. Requirements of this challenge allowed quite a lot of creative freedom and that's what drew me to it. Due to being busy with my daily job and, well, my kids, I've submitted it pretty close to the deadline, since building it took a lot of planning and shopping.

And here it is. Not what the jury expected, perhaps, but something very precious and personal to me.
