From First Date to Marriage

My husband and I had our first date in February 2019 and clicked instantly. We talked for hours over dinner until the restaurant was about to close.

On a colorful fall day in late 2019, our dog, Foxy, allowed my husband to hold her for the first time while I took a selfie of us. Foxy is a rescue dog and is generally terrified of men, so gaining her approval was a requirement for my husband.

He planned to propose on top of a mountain in Colorado in April 2020. The pandemic resulted in us canceling the trip. Instead, he proposed at home within an hour of getting the ring. I jumped up and down with excitement and almost forgot to say "yes!"

Exactly three years to the day after our first date, we married at our favorite hiking spot in front of a gorgeous fireplace, surrounded by family and friends.

I built this as a gift for my husband as we celebrate our 2nd (and 5th) anniversary. We are excited to keep adding more frames as we continue to make memories and grow our family.
