<div>The final act of &lt;i&gt;Goldfinger&lt;/i&gt; is the assault on the US Gold Reserve at Fort Knox. Goldfinger wants to destroy the gold there to make his more valuable.<br></div><div><br></div><div>The laser that had nearly cut 007 in half is installed into a fake ambulance. The laser cuts down the garage door and Goldfinger's troops pour in, open the vault door and wheel in the atomic bomb that will obliterate the gold.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Trouble arrives and Goldfinger traps Bond - handcuffed to the bomb - inside the fort and then tries to make his escape.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Bond tries to disarm the bomb.
