Wet Nellie - Transforming Lotus Sub

The Lotus submarine-car, Wet Nellie, from The Spy Who Loved Me is one of the most iconic vehicles of the franchise (and as such I assume that there will be a number of great builders offering their interpretations of it here).  My take on the design offers a number of features drawn from the film including assorted weapons systems, articulated dive fins, retracting wheels, luxury interior, functional doors, etc.

The transformation is mostly accomplished with technic parts and hinges, folding the wheels into the space alternately occupied by the fins.  The impeller manifold at the back of the sub is doubly hinged to store inside the model when in sports car mode.  In submarine mode, the model also features a display stand for more dramatic presentation.

The finished model is slightly larger than the official DB5 model but the scale is close enough to sit side-by-side without seeming out of place.
