Can you swim ?

This is the famous "Wet Nellie" Lotus appearing in The Spy Who Loved Me.

I built it for real to make sure it was buildable, fully functional and playable. I tested every mechanism to be sure it was working properly and that the whole doesn't fall into pieces as soon as you activate a device.

When you lift the car, the wheels automatically fold to submarine position (simply thanks to gravity ; no sophisticated motor involved).

Then you've only got to unfold the fins and pull the rear part to show the propellers.

When you put the wheels back to their rolling position, the fins automatically fold back to their original place.
