Nature: Deforestation Dilemma
On average, 100,000 acres of forest are cut down each day. That's millions of animals losing their habitats daily. In the last 40 years, the Brazilian Amazon rainforest has lost an area roughly the size of California.
Like my most recent entry into this competition (Is Relocation An Option?), I recreated a global crisis in hope that if it gets placed in the LEGO House, about 2 million people will see it annually. I have used a greyscale city to show one of the many reason for this dilemma. The city includes a two factories, one of which is pouring out smoke from it's chimney. On top of the road, there is a small car. The forest is made of a collection studs, green spikes and other small bricks. To give the build some additional depth, I have added two cliff faces. The entire build is bordered by a grey, stone wall. I hope you like my model and please check out some of my other builds.
Thank you,
KitKat
