Minifigure: Maximum Security

This came from an idea my daughter had. "Imagine if the police brought a criminal in prison through the door, and he just escaped through the window". I thought that worked great as a simple gag, like we'd see in old comic strips or old black and white comedies from the 1920s. So I built this to be read from left to right, like a comic strip. We see each security gimmick one after the other and then get to the punchline: the crook escaping from his tunnel dug in the ground at the far end, which is of course a nod to The Great Escape.

It's about how we often find a false sense of security in technology, or guns, or locking people up, or whatever else. It's about finding freedom by escaping all those things and going back to nature. It's about looking so hard in one direction we miss everything else, and maybe what is most important. It's also about all the little details and jokes I put everywhere in the build.

My favourites bits are the cell door and the tunnel entrance. What are yours?
