Nature: Big bee and the little bees

Summer is coming and it’s taking some bees with it... These bees are a little bigger than last year and they are taking over the city!

This build has 3 parts: the big bee, the 3 tiny bees and the mini city. My goal with the big bee was to make it as realistic as possible. That's why I used different building techniques to give it the round and detailed shape that it now has. The small bees where tricky, because they had to be tiny but recognizable. The city has 2 parts: a destroyed part and an intact part. The destroyed part consist of white walls and broken rooftops broken down by the bees. The intact part has some small streets and trees. And has a tiny bridge over the river, I love that part of the city.

I've never build an insect with LEGO-bricks. The big challenge with this build was to make the bee’s body as round as possible, but still showing that it’s made from common LEGO-bricks. I had a lot of fun building this creation and I hope it inspires you to build something awesome.
