Nature: Starfish-Nosed Mole
This adorable sand-dwelling creature has baffled biologists since its discovery in 1902. Condylura asterias, commonly known as the starfish-nosed mole, live on any warm beach touching the Pacific Ocean. Sightings of this creature are rare due to its natural shyness, but once in a while it is forced from its underground system to feed on mussels, anemone, crustaceans, and other small marine creatures within tide pools.
The LEGO version of this fictional creature was formed lovingly out of slops and a minifigure-sized starfish. The dimension of this particular model is 16 studs wide (with a little overhang from the palm tree), 17 long (again with the palm tree), and probably around 15 bricks high. Hope you enjoy!
