Writing a Children's Adventure Story

Spending time at the log cabin is the perfect place to get creative, writing a children's adventure story,

I sit at my desk with my loyal dog beside me, trying on different hats, the characters coming to life.

There are giant robots who can take over a local village, a swamp surrounding a magical tree. I see a princess trapped in a castle surrounded by poisonous roses and a moat, awaiting her rescuer.

We have a civilian, turned alchemist who can use her power for good but will she go too far?

There is a temple to climb to reach a chest of all you could ever wish for. I can feel a quest coming on.

A mystical dragon flies in to the scene; a villain or hero. I will let you decide.

I created this scene using Lego from various sets from the blue bricks of my childhood to Lego from my children's sets, pieces from a Lego store Pick a Brick wall and many from the recent Fun and Funky VIP pack. Lego is something we do as a family and I wanted the bricks to represent that.
