A Pirate’s Holiday

Captain Redbeard has finally sailed away from Barracuda Bay, and after a few years he is ready to retire. He and his family are taking a nice long vacation at their A-Frame, built on a rocky crag jutting out of the ocean. He is doing some fishing, while his father lounges nearby, resting his old bones. His wife, Lady Anchor, is making their twin boys walk the plank after they forgot to clean their room for the 4th week in a row. Their oldest son, Riggings, is up in the crow’s nest, partaking in his favorite activity: Birdwatching. Their other daughter has built a small raft and is adding the finishing touches.

This was my second modification of the A-Frame, this time in the style of the Pirates of Barracuda Bay set. (1st was medieval) I copied the black and gold color scheme from the cabin into the house, and then extended the porch and made it look similar to the cluttered ship’s deck.
