Autumn on the Lake

"After a long drive to their lakeside cabin, Brett and Cindy were happy to take a relaxing canoe trip out on the lake. Brett spent the time quietly enjoying the beautiful scenery, while Cindy tried to get some photographs of the local wildlife. They spotted a Great Blue Heron hunting along the shore; after carefully paddling closer, she got a great picture of it stalking a frog!"

I grew up attending a lakeside summer camp that had a beautiful A-Frame chapel, so both the great outdoors and A-Frame buildings have a special place in my heart!

If you've ever been to a lake in the east south-central part of the United States during autumn, this should be a familiar scene to you! The hills are a rainbow of different colors from the changing leaves, and you can always find a heron somewhere, quietly hunting along the shore.

I hope you enjoy this model, and my miniature rendition of the A-Frame Cabin! It's almost an exact replica, with the important addition of a hammock! ;)
